Main Street Louisville, KY
I love walking Louisville's Main street. There are so many interesting buildings. These are some photographs I like: A clock in an Army Surplus store window, a detail of one of the many cast iron facades, an American flag, backwards and a gaudy building front.

Brown Park
Brown Park in St. Matthews is a small park located near Baptist East Hospital. It has asphalt paved trails that traverse the park, crossing streams and falling in and out of shadowy wooded areas. There are picnic tables and play grounds and plenty of room to play in the grassy areas. Stone monoliths are scattered throught the woods and wild flowers bloom in the spring and early summer. The park is undergoing a renovation to replace invading plants with native plants. A nice place to walk on a summer evening. The photographs are a detail of the iron gate at the Brown Family Cemetery along with ivy growing on a gate post, flowers in an area near the hospital and one of the stone monoliths.
